We aim to provide an exhibition with something to interest all the family and have listened carefully to the feedback from our visitors.
This year we offer:
Quality catering – more variety in two refreshment areas offering both snacks and plated meals – breakfasts, lunches & afternoon tea.
Quality layouts, most of them featured in the modelling press.
Variety – nineteen quality layouts in a total of 12 different scale/gauge combinations based on prototypes in seven countries which range in date from 1880 to the present day.
Convenience – 75% of our visitors travel by public transport. Piccadilly station, Metrolink trams and Chorlton Street coach station all within 3 minutes walk and bus-stops for 35 services are within six minutes walk.

Two layouts for the children to drive their own trains, featuring both well-known engines from books and TV, and “real” model trains
