The 2026 Christmas Model Railway Show will be held on 12th and 13th of December
in association with Warner’s World of Railways

Last Christmas we held a very special show commemorating 100 years of
the Manchester Model Railway Society.
Here is some information about it.
Planning started over four years before our Centenary Exhibition in December 2025
It’s going to be a very special show!
And it certainly was, with total attendance up by approximately 30% compared to 2024.
Award Winners
The MMRS Cup, for best layout as chosen by MMRS members:
Port de Crozon
Copenhagen Fields, Bron Hebog and St Ruth all tied for 2nd place
The Visitor Shield for Best Layout as chosen by our visitors:

Which also won the award for Best Large Layout in Show award
The Norris Cup, for Best Small Layout, as chosen by our visitors
