Porth Dinllaen

Porth Dinllaen was the winner of MMRS Centenary Challenge and featured in January 2026 Railway Modeller but now a new home is wanted for this layout as space is needed for the next project.

This layout is 2 meters by 0.45 meters and comprises of two main boards which stack together using end boards for transit. The “fiddle yard” is composed of two further boards each 1 metre long. A hinged cover is also included for dust free storage. The layout is wired for DCC and uses modern electronic controls. It is easy to operate either at home or as an exhibition .

The price is negotiable – we just want to recover some of our costs.
